Privacy Policy

Munchlet is made by Peak Apps Studio (Doruk Çetin, individual developer). This policy explains what happens to your information, and to the information you keep about your baby, when you use the Munchlet app for Android from Google Play.
The short version
There is no account, no advertising and no analytics. What you enter in Munchlet (your baby's name and birth date, how you start solids, the foods your baby tried, reactions, notes and your settings) stays on your phone, and we never receive it. Two technical things leave the phone: a check for app updates and your purchases through Google Play. Both are listed below, together with how Google Play's Data safety section describes them.
What stays on your phone
Your baby's name or nickname and birth date (or due date), the way you chose to start (baby-led weaning, purées or both), your answer about allergy or eczema in the family, every food you mark as tried with how it went, any reaction and your notes, your reminder time and your settings are stored only in the app's private storage on your device. They are not uploaded and we cannot see them.
The daily reminder, if you turn it on, is a notification that your phone schedules for itself. No server sends it and nothing about it leaves the phone.
If Android backup is turned on for your Google account, Android may include Munchlet's data in that backup, which Google stores under its own terms and which we cannot access.

Neither service receives your baby's name, birth date, foods, reactions or notes, your name, your contacts or your location. All connections are encrypted (HTTPS). We do not sell your data, share it for advertising or combine it with other data. Like every developer on Google Play, we can see the order details Google shares for sales and refunds (for example the product, the price, the country and the order number).
Health information
The answer about allergy or eczema in the family and the reactions you note are kept only on your phone, to shape the tips and the allergen planner you see. They are never sent to us or to anyone else.
Permissions
Munchlet uses the internet (updates and purchases), Google Play billing, vibration and, only if you turn on the reminder, notifications. It does not use your camera, microphone, photos, contacts, location, SMS, call log, exact alarms or the advertising ID. The emergency call button opens your phone app with the number filled in; Munchlet does not place the call itself.
Children
Munchlet is made for parents and caregivers. It is not directed at children. The information about your baby is what you choose to enter, and it stays on your phone.
Keeping and deleting data
Remove a food from tried, remove a baby, or use Settings > Erase all data at any time. Uninstalling Munchlet deletes everything it stored on the device, together with the random installation ID; a new one is created if you install it again. Because we hold no account and no copy of your data, there is nothing on our side to delete.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
