These terms apply to the Munchlet app for Android, made by Peak Apps Studio. By using Munchlet you agree to them. If you downloaded Munchlet from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply.
What Munchlet is
Munchlet is a guide for parents who are starting solids with their baby: when each food can be offered, how to prepare it at each stage, its choking risk, the common allergens, a tracker for the foods your baby tried and short guides. It is based on general feeding guidance for healthy babies.
A guide, not medical advice
Munchlet does not give medical advice and does not replace your pediatrician, health visitor or doctor. Every baby is different: ask your pediatrician before starting solids, and before offering common allergens such as peanut and egg if your baby has eczema or a family history of allergy. Munchlet is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition.
Food safety
Always stay with your baby while they eat, keep them sitting upright, and prepare each food as its page shows. No preparation removes every risk. If you see signs of an allergic reaction (such as swelling, hives with other symptoms, repeated vomiting or trouble breathing), get medical help at once.
Emergencies and first aid
Munchlet does not teach first aid. The emergency card shows a call button for the emergency number of the country you choose; numbers can differ by region and network, so learn your local number. In an emergency, always call your local emergency services and follow their instructions. A hands-on infant first aid course is the best preparation.
Free features
The first foods and every food page with a high choking risk or that is not recommended, the emergency card, the five safety guides, tracking for up to 10 foods, one baby and the reminder are free.
Munchlet Pro on Google Play
Munchlet Pro opens every food with stage-by-stage serving advice, unlimited tracking with reactions and notes, the allergen planner and weekly ideas, all 16 guides and more than one baby. It is offered in three ways; prices are shown in the app in your local currency before you buy:
- Yearly subscription, with a 7-day free trial for people who have not had a Munchlet subscription before. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the yearly price is charged to your Google Play account when the trial ends.
- Monthly subscription.
- Lifetime: a one-time purchase, not a subscription.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel before the period ends. You can cancel or change your plan at any time in the Google Play app (Menu > Payments and subscriptions > Subscriptions); Munchlet's Settings link there too. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro stays open until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds follow Google Play's refund policy. Purchases are tied to your Google account and come back with Restore purchases on a new device.
Your content
The baby details, foods, reactions and notes you enter stay on your phone. Keep your phone locked and make your own backup if you want one; uninstalling the app or erasing its data deletes them.
Limits
Munchlet is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, Peak Apps Studio is not liable for decisions made using the app or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer law of your country.
Changes
If these terms change, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
